Several members of Belgrade Police Department’s Intervention Unit 92 have been arrested for allegedly covering up a shooting at a restaurant in Belgrade. The incident is linked to Saša Vuković, also known as Boske, who is already detained on a separate murder charge.
The Belgrade Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Internal Control Sector made the arrests. The officers, including the unit’s commander and deputy, face charges of abusing their official positions and influence trading. The shooting occurred on November 5, 2025, at the “Steak and Wine Bar,” where a firearm was reportedly discharged during a brawl.
Prosecutors allege these officers obstructed the investigation by failing to secure the crime scene, neglecting to notify authorities, and downplaying the incident as merely a verbal altercation. Additionally, the restaurant’s director, D.Ž., was arrested for allegedly not reporting the crime and erasing surveillance footage.
