Raiffeisen banka has been recognized as the Best Digital Bank for Consumers in Serbia for 2026 by Global Finance, a notable international financial magazine. The bank also secured five additional awards in the World’s Best Consumer Digital Bank Awards 2026 categories, which include best mobile banking app, most innovative digital bank, best digital product offerings, best integrated banking website for consumers, and best marketing and social media services. These accolades underscore Raiffeisen banka’s continued commitment to enhancing customer experience through digital innovation.
Zoran Petrović, President of the Executive Board of Raiffeisen banka Serbia, highlighted the significance of these awards as a testament to the bank’s long-term strategy. “These awards across various categories are extremely significant to us as they demonstrate that quality is recognized throughout the digital experience,” Petrović stated. He credited the achievements to the bank’s sustained investment and the efforts of those who consistently work to develop and improve their services.
Jelena Aksić, a member of the Executive Board, emphasized the evolving expectations of customers, noting that they now demand more than just the availability of digital services. “Clients no longer distinguish between digital and traditional banking. They expect the bank to be there when needed, with every process being simple and fast,” Aksić explained. The awards for the mobile app, digital offerings, and integrated website confirm that the development of their services aligns with these customer expectations.
Katarina Gaborović, the Director of Marketing at Raiffeisen banka Serbia, remarked on the importance of digital communication with clients. She pointed out that a good digital bank today extends beyond having a good application. “The client experience begins long before entering the app, through the website, social media, content, and support,” Gaborović said. She expressed pride that Global Finance recognized their approach to client communication, aiming to make complex financial topics more understandable and relevant to everyday life.
These achievements place Raiffeisen banka among the leading banks in Serbia regarding digital user experience, mobile banking, innovation, digital product offerings, and client communication. The recognition from Global Finance, which has been organizing the World’s Best Digital Bank Awards for 27 years, highlights the bank’s leadership in the digital banking sector.
This latest recognition follows Raiffeisen banka’s previous success in winning six Global Finance awards for its digital banking services aimed at businesses, demonstrating the bank’s comprehensive approach to digitalization across different customer segments. Over the past few years, the bank has been focused on developing its digital channels and services, which has now been acknowledged through these prestigious awards.
While the current awards celebrate the bank’s achievements in consumer digital banking, they also reflect a broader trend in the banking industry towards digital transformation. As customer expectations continue to evolve, banks are increasingly focusing on providing seamless and integrated digital experiences. Raiffeisen banka’s success in this area suggests that it is well-positioned to meet these demands and maintain its competitive edge in the Serbian banking market.
