The upcoming EXPO 2027 in Belgrade, Serbia, has taken a significant step forward by selecting SKY SOLUTIONS DOO BEOGRAD to handle the technical production of the event. The contract, valued at approximately 2.12 billion dinars excluding VAT, covers a comprehensive range of services necessary for the exhibition’s success. This includes the procurement, transportation, installation, testing, and maintenance of equipment, as well as providing technical support, engaging skilled personnel, and managing the dismantling of equipment post-event.
EXPO 2027 is set to be a major international event, running from May 15 to August 15, 2027, and will feature around 8,000 events over its 93-day duration. The exhibition will host a variety of program spaces, including the Bina Auditorium with a capacity of approximately 3,000 seats, the World Stage, Symphony Stage, and several smaller pop-up stages. Additionally, there will be a dedicated space for National Day celebrations and sports facilities. The technical production will employ state-of-the-art audio-video and lighting systems to ensure high-quality execution of the diverse range of events planned.
Danilo Jerinić, the director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Beograd, emphasized the importance of reliable technical production for the exhibition. He stated, “The technical production will be one of the key prerequisites for realizing the rich program content that visitors can expect during the 93 days of the exhibition. We anticipate around 8,000 events, highlighting the dynamic and diverse nature of EXPO 2027. Therefore, it is crucial to have a dependable and professional technical production system to deliver the program at the level expected of such a significant international event.”
The theme for EXPO 2027 is “Play for Humanity: Sports and Music for All,” and it has already garnered participation confirmation from over 140 countries, including major players like the USA and Japan. This extensive participation underscores the event’s global significance and its potential to enhance Serbia’s international relations and tourism sector.
