The Biznis karavan Ekspa 2027 recently visited the Serbian cities of Niš and Leskovac, aiming to present local entrepreneurs with opportunities to engage in the upcoming EXPO 2027 in Belgrade. Organized by the company EHRO 2027 in collaboration with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the event seeks to encourage Serbian companies to participate actively in this international exhibition, which is set to take place from May 15 to August 15, 2027.
During the caravan’s visit, local businesses were introduced to a digital business platform that allows them to register and offer their products and services to international participants of EXPO 2027. The platform is designed to facilitate connections between Serbian companies and global partners, offering a range of commercial collaboration opportunities, including sponsorships and the purchase of tickets for employees and business partners.
Luka Živković, a representative of EHRO 2027, emphasized the importance of the Biznis karavan in helping local companies recognize the collaborative opportunities available with international participants. He highlighted that both large corporations and small to medium enterprises across Serbia could benefit from the exhibition. “International participants are already preparing their pavilions, and they will need various services, from logistics and transport to IT support, accounting, and interior furnishing,” Živković stated.
The event also featured input from regional business leaders. Goran Jović, Director of the Regional Chamber of Commerce for the Jablanički and Pčinj districts, underscored the significance of the caravan for southern Serbian businesses. He noted that the presentation was a valuable opportunity for local entrepreneurs to learn how they could become part of EXPO 2027, regardless of their company’s size. “Our priority is to inform all entrepreneurs about the possibilities of registering on the platform and providing technical, logistical, and other support to international participants,” Jović said.
Bratislav Ćirković, Director of the Regional Chamber of Commerce for the Nišava, Pirot, and Toplica districts, reinforced the potential long-term benefits for businesses in southeastern Serbia. He pointed out that the region hosts more than 4,500 business entities and over 60,000 entrepreneurial ventures, all of which stand to gain from the opportunities presented by EXPO 2027. “EXPO is a major development opportunity for all of them, not only to showcase their capabilities but also to achieve concrete business results,” Ćirković remarked.
The Biznis karavan will continue its tour across various Serbian cities, supported by regional chambers of commerce, to ensure that as many local entrepreneurs and companies as possible receive timely information about participating in EXPO 2027 and establishing connections with international partners. The exhibition, themed “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All,” aims to promote Serbia’s economic, innovative, and tourism potential to visitors from around the world.
